Everyone knows the feeling of new arrival - for example in a sports club, a school, an apartment or a new circle of friends. But some people know it especially because when they moved to a new country, they suddenly found themselves new everywhere.
In “Stories of Beginnings” your arrival will be our topic: arriving in Germany, in new social expectations, in a different way of dealing with people, in a new political order, but also in a new school class, house and city. You think about what helped or helps you feel comfortable and settle in: friendships, social opportunities, a certain language or even a song or the story of other people with similar experiences.
In a recording studio you each produced short individual or shared narratives and experienced the power of your voice, in the language of your choice. You will see that telling stories and listening to each other brings solidarity and courage and shows you that you are evolving with every arrival.
